Michèle M. Bissada

Michèle Bissada brings more than three decades of experience in California family law to her work as a neutral at Signature Resolution. As a Certified Family Law Specialist, AAML Fellow, and AAML Certified Mediator, Michèle devotes her practice exclusively to private dispute resolution. Throughout her career, she has been committed to providing a process that is respectful, transparent, and centered on helping families move forward with clarity and confidence.

Michèle’s background includes extensive experience in high-net-worth dissolutions involving complex business interests, private equity, venture capital, hedge funds, and other hard-to-value assets. Michèle also has significant experience in high-conflict custody matters, including cases involving children resisting contact, gatekeeping concerns, and relocation issues. Michèle strives to blend technical precision with an understanding of family dynamics so that the solutions reached are both fair and lasting.

Before transitioning full time into neutral work, Michèle served as Senior Principal at Flicker, Kerin, Kruger and Bissada LLP in Silicon Valley, where she spent more than two decades representing clients in complex financial and custody matters. Michèle has also served as a mediator since the early 2000s. This experience has shaped her appreciation for thorough preparation and the need to design thoughtful and creative settlements for parties in their dissolution proceeding.

Michèle remains active in the legal community as a past President of the Northern California Chapter of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML) and as a frequent lecturer for AAML, AFCC, and state and local bar associations. Michèle has been recognized in Super Lawyers since 2006, including selection to the Top 10 Attorneys and Top 50 Women Attorneys in Northern California, and Best Lawyers named me Lawyer of the Year for Family Law in San Jose in 2024.
